Young Sussex has been providing high quality care and education for preschool children for over 18 years at our three conveniently located nurseries.  Qualified and caring staff ensure your children will learn and have fun in a safe, friendly and stimulating environment. Our priorities are your children’s safety and happiness.

Through free and structured play, children are encouraged to make the most of their natural curiosity.  They are allowed to develop personal, social and intellectual skills at their own pace, preparing them for the transition to school with self confidence and an awareness of the world around them. Staff record children’s progress at every stage.

We now cater for babies at both our Dyke Road and Portland Road nurseries. Both nurseries also have dedicated pre-school sections to better prepare your children for school.

Each nursery undertakes a quality assurance scheme with their Local Authority, ensuring that the nurseries are continually assessing the service they provide. Our Aldrington nursery has achieved "Investors in Children" status. All three nurseries have scored top grades in our OFSTED inspections for all areas of childcare and education.

Young Sussex nurseries are registered by OFSTED Early Years. Young Sussex is a member of the National Day Nurseries Association. We are registered to accept LEA funding for all three and four year olds.
