Young Sussex aims to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the needs of individual parents. We offer core sessions with the ability to extend the hours that a child attends. This means that parents only pay for the hours they need. Please click the links below for our current fees: Our fees include nappies, wipes, suncream, and snacks: Our Early Start includes breakfast, and our Late Finish includes tea. Our normal day sessions include morning and afternoon snacks. We have found from experience that many parents want to have greater control over what their children eat, and wish to provide a packed lunch. In order that parents do not end up subsidising a service that they do not use, a hot lunch is an optional extra that is charged at cost. Siblings will receive a 5% discount off their normal sessions. This will be applied to the older siblings account for as long as both children attend Young Sussex. Free Early Learning Funding FEL Funding changed once again in September 2010, with all 3 & 4 year olds entitled to the equivalent of 15hrs a week of free childcare over 38 weeks. As Young Sussex is open throughout the year and not just for term-time, parents will only need to attend 11.5hrs of funded sessions a week (over 49 weeks) to be awarded their full annual entitlement. Each local authority has provided information for parents (see links below) which we would encourage you to read first. There is basic additional information on the fee sheet for the implementation at Young Sussex, but please speak to the nursery manager for any clarification If your child attends our Aldrington or Dyke Road nursery, please click here If your child attends our Shoreham nursery, please click here
